About Česká Regionální Energetika
Česká Regionální Energetika a.s. (hereinafter only “CRE”) has been on the market for over seven years. At its establishment, CRE focused on electricity and natural gas supplies to end customers, mainly retail customers in the Czech Republic. CRE activities have since expanded to include the wholesale sector, and thus larger companies.
Its long-term strategy has refocused CRE mainly on providing comprehensive services for the purchase and supply of both electricity and natural gas, for which CRE also provides transport and storage for wholesale customers and energy suppliers across the Czech, Slovak, German, Austrian and Italian markets.
To this end, CRE has acquired the most important licences for trading and supplying electricity and natural gas throughout Central Europe, and has also contracted the necessary transporters. The licences and contracts obtained for the European market saw CRE attracting the attention of a foreign investor, which has provided CRE with a strong financial base.
CRE is able to purchase and supply electricity and natural gas to Czech, Slovak and Austrian virtual trading points, and in the case of natural gas also to any cross-border point with the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria and Italy.
Česká Regionální Energetika a.s. is one of only 30 entities in the world to have been granted the highest type of CEGH licence for physical trading, and therefore offers and provides a broader portfolio of services than most suppliers/traders.

Hedging
Are you looking to purchase electricity or natural gas for a future period? Our company will arrange the purchase and subsequent supply of energy to a virtual trading point you designate. All cooperation is based on an EFET agreement.
Balancing services
Do you want to start trading on the CEGH? Save valuable time and considerable licence-acquisition costs. We can accept you into our balancing group and you will be able to use our Shipper Code for your trading.
Transportation
Do you have gas supplies arranged to a virtual trading point or a cross-border point for which you do not have licences or the necessary agreements? We can solve this problem for you. We will take over the natural gas and transport it wherever you need it.
Clearing entity services
Don’t want to deal with variance management and electricity and natural gas purchasing because you are focusing on growing your customer portfolio? We can provide you with a comprehensive service, from the purchasing of energy to the settlement of variances with the local market operator.
